About This Role
Lorenz Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for skilled HVAC Installers & Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you'll install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial settings. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, have access to ongoing training, and be part of a team where your contributions are recognized and rewarded.
Duties
- Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and air handlers
- Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on existing residential and commercial HVAC equipment
- Inspect and test systems to verify proper operation and ensure efficiency
- Identify and resolve issues with electrical components, refrigerant levels, ductwork, and controls
- Follow all applicable HVAC codes, EPA regulations, and manufacturer specifications
- Educate customers on system operation, maintenance best practices, and available service options
- Complete all required job documentation, service reports, and invoices accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and care for all tools and equipment
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every visit, reflecting the Lorenz commitment to quality
- Manage daily service schedule efficiently and communicate proactively with dispatch and customers
- Participate in on-call rotation as required (on-call time is compensated)
- Stay current on new HVAC technologies, products, and best practices through ongoing training
- Collaborate with teammates and support a positive work culture
- Other duties as assigned
